With fifteen years professional experience in technology and design, Catherine makes the unlikeliest of partnerships work sucessfully. As a Designer and Art Director creative at a large advertising agency, Catherine saw an opportunity to develop more interesting and creative work if only the "artsy folk" and the "technical folk" could learn to really work together.

Embracing a childhood interest, Catherine began pursuing technology in earnest. Over time she stepped out of more creative roles and into increasingly technical ones, developing custom applications as Director of Technology for a turnkey marketing organization. Catherine's philosophy is that education and clear communication are key when marrying the creative role to the technical one.

As her career path changed, Catherine persued a dream of creating a team of technical people specifically to support and assist creative organizations, working collaboratively to develop amazing work. That dream has come to life as the Mad Science Department.
